We (the pharmacy graduates cum grape planters) are currently (anxiously) waiting for the letter from Hogwarts Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia /Ministry of Magic Health regarding our placements of posting! *scream!* We're gonna get the letter anytime now this November.
The places that I had chosen are anywhere in Kedah (preferably Sg petani of course), Penang (preferably Kepala Batas) and Perlis(there's only one hospital there haha). If I do not get Sg.Petani or Kepala Batas, then, I'd have to bid goodbye to my family and home, and rent a place somewhere else.
But then again, it seems like I had begun to accept the fact that I could be posted somewhere else. Sabah or Sarawak. Anywhere in the Pantai Timur region (kelantan, terengganu, pahang (after 4 years in Pahang, not again??)), southern parts (johor, melaka) or pantai barat (selangor, KL, negeri sembilan) or Perak. Haha. During the SPA interview, I was asked on whether I have any plans of getting married in another 1 or 2 years, and I said no. So, there is a high possibility that I'd be posted somewhere far from home. Dx.
I guess that beggars can't be choosers. We had finished our studies for the past 5 months and long holidays had started to get boring (for the unproductive lots that include me) and so we're very much yearning to start working....hahahaha. Anyway, once we had received the posting letter, everyone would just accept whatever had been 'chosen' for them. Allah is the best planner, right?
In fact, I had started to ask around on the cost of living in some states, I had even searched for a house or room to rent, I'm even thinking of starting to pack my stuffs. Yea, I don't think I'd get SP or Kepala Batas.
Life is an adventure anyway.
They said that this first year of working, this PRP posting is the hardest part of becoming a pharmacist. But after that, things will get easier, insya Allah.
Let's just pray and hope for the best, and prepare for the worst.
