Stuffs that make me cry

I might be sarcastic but I'm quite sentimental, to tell the truth. I cried easily. Yes, I do. But that doesn't make me weak. I get stronger and more inspired after I cried. Maybe I really am grateful to be born as a girl. You know, the stereotype about 'it's normal for girls to cry' but for guys to do that, they will be labeled as a wimpy or a weakling. Not fair, right? To tell the truth, I don't really trust guys who cried easily. My friends had experience with those kind of guys. Oh, I'm not a wimp either. I only cried during the time when I'm really emotionally moved. Kalau jatuh basikal, luka, kena injections, cabut gigi semua tu saya BELUM PERNAH MENANGIS, okay.

Bear in mind, my definition of crying is 'Big fat tears rolling down my cheeks'. That's it. No more than that. No noise or what. Silent crying. Sometimes I was crying in front of the TV, with the rest of my family members watching the same thing but they NEVER realised that I cried. Yaay me! Haha.

Okay, moving on to the list of stuffs that make me cry.

GANDHI (1982)

Yeah, Gandhi. The 1982 film by Richard Attenborough. The one that won 8 awards from the Academy Awards. LOL.
Seriously, I don't know why I cried. Maybe it's because Ben Kingsley did a great job in portraying Mahatma Gandhi. The film started with Gandhi being shot by a er..terrorist, and it flashed back to 20 (I guess) years ago. The movie chronicled the journey of Gandhi when he was still as student until his death.

I got really touched at this part: The riots between Pakistani and Indians. Some Indians killed some Pakistanis. An Indian guy confessed to Gandhi that he had mercilessly banged the head of a Muslim Pakistani's boy onto the wall and the boy died. Then Gandhi said 'Adopt a Muslim boy orphan, around the same age as the boy that you had killed, raised him up according to the teachings of Islam,' The guy is a Hindu, BTW. Eh, well, the dialogue goes something like that.

I cried and cried and cried when Gandhi got killed. Okay, almost cried when I'm typing this.

UP (2009)

The movie 'Up'. I only cried in the beginning of the movie. See? Awal-awal pun dah menangis. I'm really touched with the never ending love Carl has towards Ellie, his childhood sweetheart+wife, even after she had died. Oh, but the rest of the movie is BORING, to tell the truth.

The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

Yup, just read this book. I chose this cover because I know some of you despise Miley Cyrus. HAHAHA.
In the beginning, it was OK. Then later on, without me realising it, I was crying and crying and crying non stop. Okay, tipu. Menangis biasa je. Big fat tears rolled down my cheek. The usual silent cry.The other Nicholas Sparks' novel that I've read is 'The Walk to Remember'. After that, I can't bear to read any other Nick Sparks' novel. Takut menangis. LOL.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I almost cried watching this. Okay, I lied. I didn't cry. I'm just moved. Touched. When Sirius Black died. And when Harry flashed back to the time when he first entered Hogwarts together with Ron and Hermione, with the snippets of the early Harry Potter movies included, made me realised, Oh, how long has it been? I was eleven when I watched the first Harry Potter movie. So were they (Emma Watson). It seems like we, the audience are growing together with the casts of Harry Potter.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Okay, I didn't cry. But almost cry. When whatsthatguy's name, oh yeah. Colin Creevey and (sadly, GEORGE WEASLEY) got killed during the battle. And LUPIN! AND TONKS! Okay, I'm gonna cry now. And SNAPE! OMG, SNAPE! I'm ready to cry now. And the time when somebody (I forgot who) spat on McGonagall's face and Harry was so furious. Okay, forgot. The touching part when most of the characters from the early books returned to fight with Harry, against Voldemort and cronies. Oliver Wood (my favourite character!), Cho Chang (err, yeah. whatever). And then, here comes the MOST MOVING PART.

NINETEEN YEARS LATER. When we know that Harry is married to Ginny, had sons. When Harry looked into his son's Albus' eyes, saying that 'you are named after two Hogwarts headmasters, and one of them is the bravest person I've ever known. So it doesn't matter whether you're in Slytherin, bla bla, eh, I'm surprised I even remember this line XD'.
It's like, Harry Potter is now over! We couldn't believe it ourselves! We practically grow up together with Harry and the gang. As soon as I finished reading the book, I looked at the back of the book, with J.K. Rowling's picture on it, and I said 'YOU ARE A GREAT AUTHOR!'

Germany Vs Italy FIFA World Cup 2006 semi-final.
And this one. The epic goals from the epic semifinal match between Germany and Italy in World Cup 2006. Among all these list of stuffs that make me cry, this is the one that makes me really cry uncontrollably. HAHAHA.
Nobuta wo Produce

Nobuta wo Produce. The greatest Japanese drama I've ever watched. Please excuse the sissy guy on your left. XD. I cried watching the endings and some parts of the drama. The music score is EXCELLENT! Enough said. Nak tau, tengok sendiri. Highly recommended. This drama focuses more on friendship rather than lovey dovey stuffs.

Autumn in My Heart.

Okay, no need to elaborate more on this. I've been crying since the first episode. Lepas episode yg Won Bin dapat tau yang Eun Suh ada leukemia, call Farahin, menangis. Lepas tu Farahin pun kata dia menangis.LOL Sarah.

Delightful Girl Choon Hyang

Delightful Girl Chun Hyang. Sesetengah episod je yang 'tertouched'. Waktu tu nak dekat final exam tapi saya, Soul, Syidah, makan take-away ZC Cafe's spaghetti makan dalam bilik saya. Tiga orang kongsi satu meja. Depan tu ada laptop. Tengok cerita ni. Part yang sedih sampai nak menangis tu, saya ketawa nak cover air mata yang mengalir. Entah apa-apa.Nak dekat exam tu. Okay, but three of us got Dean's List (tak payah mention pun takpe XD). Jangan tiru perkara ini di hostel.

Gokusen

Gokusen 1. Eh, ada Matsumoto Jun. Eh, ada Oguri Shun! Eh, ada that guy yang jadi head dorm 1 dalam Hana Kimi! Watch the last episode and you're guaranteed to cry upon witnessing the sincerity of a teacher who wanted her students to be good people in the future. Academic doesn't really matters.

Oprah

My favourite talkshow.

Raihan-I'tiraf
I cried when I heard this nasyid song. I'tiraf by Raihan. Betapa banyaknya dosa yang dilakukan. Tapi Allah tetap sayang. :((

Ibu Mertuaku-P.Ramlee
This song and the other one 'Jeritan Batinku'. Sedih. But Kassim Selamat is kinda stupid, to tell the truth.

Stairways to Heaven

Stairways to Heaven. The song is heavenly heaven. Okay, merepek. I didn't cry, to tell the truth. In fact, I tried forcing myself to cry but I couldn't cry. What happened to me? But Syidah cried. Sometimes, she would take off her spectacles to shed the tears that flow from her eyes. XD. And yes, Mariam cried too. And Kwon Sang Woo is hot! And oh, the girl who played the young Han JungSuh  is the same actress who played 'Go Mi Nam' in 'You're Beautiful'. She was thirteen in this drama.

And, lots more actually. Of which I didn't really cry, but touched, moved, inspired. Don't ask about personal stuffs. :P

I want to tag, can or not? TAGGING:

FIKAH MUS
NURUL ZATY
WAN NURFAZLIYANA
AISHAH LIYANA
LISA FARHANA
NOOR JAMALINA
(OMG, rhymes!) -I don't think she'll respond to this. :P
SU'AIDAH AISYAH
SITI SAKINAH
UMMU ATIQAH (ooh, rhymes jugak, kinda :P)

Disclaimer: Images are googled and videos are youtubed. Don't sue me, anyone. XD

"I'm really touched with the never ending love Carl has towards Ellie"

For UP, to me the best trace of love is not between Carl and Ellie, but Dug the talking dog.

It may not be a romantic kind of love, but in times of life and death, there are people willing to stand by you, willing to go thru the toughest challenges in life - and this love that came out from this willingness, can only be the most sincere and genuine form of love.

"I was hiding under your porch because I love you. Can I stay?" To me, this sentence by Dug the talking dog is the most powerful phrase in the whole movie.

Haha, yeah. To be truthful, I kind of forgot about Dug the talking dog.
Thanks for the reminder. This comment really reminds me to pay attention to everyone's feelings.

And of course, there are various forms of love. It's not only confined to the 'romantic' kind of love. Sibling love, motherly love, friendship, and the list goes on.

And again, thank you for the comment. :D
