Curry...

Just created a preposterous Japanese name from Farah Humaira's blog.

My name in Malay:
Siti Sarah Syahirah

My name in Japanese:
Arikichiki Arikashikari Arifukarikishikari.

ARIENATSUNO!!! (Unbelievable)

Anyone wants KARI? (CURRY)

Insanity and Craziness, Post-Quiz Traumatic Experience...

ARGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know it's very unlady-like of me to scream out loud either in the virtual world or in reality. Well yeah, I just did, OK! And goodness what perceptions do the sisters next door have about me. Oh well... I'm not lady-like after all. All my friends will laugh for sure.
" Sarah, a lady like person? WAKAKAKAKAKAKA!!!!"
I had a great time answering the quiz just now when suddenly, I was confused with the given answer in question number 10. The rest are OK. I'm just confused with QUESTION NUMBER TEN!!!!
I was contemplating on whether to choose WIZARD or DEVICE DRIVERS.
And off I went, choosing WIZARD, smiling all the way from class to room. Satisfied and half confident with the chosen answer.
I opened the door, still smiling...
I opened 'Computing Essentials 2008', still smiling.. and...
WHAT THE HECK??!!!!

The answer is the freaking DEVICE DRIVERS!!!! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO
So that concludes, I know what I'm going to get for this quiz. Huhu, I want to get full marks laaaa.....
Never mind, let this be a lesson.
Lesson? Like don't go online when you're supposed to be studying for your quiz?
NO! This is a lesson that you will remember for your entire life. You WILL REMEMBER that freaking DEVICE DRIVERS need to be installed before some output devices can be used. The name DEVICE DRIVERS is SO OBVIOUS, right???
And that WIZARD guides you through the process of installing DEVICES. IT GUIDES YOU!!!!

Ok, I'm gonna study with all my might for tomorrow's exam.* My alter-ego, Sarah Sarcastic rolled her eyes and said cynically " As if!"
What the heck Sarah Sarcastic! I'll prove it to you! Haha.
What am I doing talking to myself. Well, feeling a bit loony.
My dad's gonna come to see me again! Hoho! He came last weekend. Forever a busy man. LOL

Quiz again! And new layout..

Not exactly new. I've used it before and I've decided to use it again as I've got bored of the previous layout.
There's supposed to be no class tomorrow. But Mdm had decided to let us do the third computer quiz tomorrow morning. Pheww...
Ok, my computer quiz marks had deteriorated.
Quiz 1 : 24/25
Quiz 2: 23.5/25

WHAT?
I don't want to get 23/25 for tomorrow's quiz! NO!!!
But indeed, I'm still grateful. There's one guy in my class who got a mere 7.5/25.

By the way, my mum scolded me just now. She's sort of angry because I haven't called her for like, 5 days. Haha.
Oh yeah, and there's this dude from my Arabic class last semester. I got to know about his blog from Raja Syahmi.
And off I went commenting on his cbox.
Gosh, this guy was hyperventilating, bombarding me with questions like
" How did you manage to find my blog?"
" Not many people know about this,"
" You browsed into whose link list?"

Chill dude. I'm not going to post your 'private' pictures and your most 'innermost thoughts' into some other sites. :P Maybe he's not used to having 'strangers' viewing his blog.
It's a blog, dude. Anyone can unexpectedly stumbled upon your blog, or anyone's blog.
LOL.

New Project...

I know what I'm going to do to kill my precious time and the immense boredom. Mid sem oii!!
Thanks Bill Gates for creating Windows Media Player! Hahahaha *Get a clue*
He did, right?

Nak pergi!

Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2009
Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur
17-26 April 2009
I want to go. Syidah too. I told Wan about this and she wanted to come with us. Hoho.
You can't separate me from books...
I want to get the authors' autographs as well. :)
So maybe we'll go there on the 18th or 19th. 18th, after we finished our mid sem-I have computer and she has BTQ. Or 19, the day after that.
Or maybe on the 25th or 26th?
25th. MUET.
Oh, tak best....
Jem nak ikut? :P

One of the early signs of an internet addict...

(Syidah with her laptop where friendster page is displayed)
Right after performing the Maghrib prayer, Syidah reached for her laptop. And she didn't take off her telekung ever since, starting from 7.30 something till almost 10 p.m. I took this picture around 9.47 p.m. 2 hours and 30 minutes in telekung! Kononnya nak tunggu Isyak, LOL.
See? Telekung and sejadah. And laptop in front of her.
LOL.
Welcome to the club, dear room mate (Syidah's gonna puke if she heard me calling her 'dear'. Not going to happen in real life, haha). ;P
You're officially an internet addict.
Anyone remember this phrase?
Sarah is an addict who is addicted to the addiction of which she has become addicted to.
That addiction is internet.
OBVIOUSLY ;)

What happened during computer class...

We had our computer lab class in Computer Lab A.

Of course, got internet, apa lagi.. online la!
We opened madam's website and there's a cbox. Apa lagi, spam la!

15 users online.
Aishah enticed me into this, haha.
" Sarah, jom spam,"
" Hoho, okay,"
" Tapi jangan guna nama awak. Kita buat initial,"
" Ok,"
So, I am S and Aishah is a.

Spamming starts. And suddenly everyone in the class started chatting!

n: Zarif, belajar arr
a: s... takut la nanti quiz bio
S: Yo!
S: Relaxla A.
a: haha, kelakarla panggil s dengan a.. haha
a: takut gile..mdm zahalah yg aja sy bio tau..soalan die sgt2 tricky!!

Aishah asked me " Siapa N?"
I just said " Tak tau. Tak kisahla,"

S: frust pulak..

S: hai nuura! :-) THIS IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF ALL!!! I'll explain it to you later, hoho.
a: bahaye la..x leh reveal name..haha

naktahu: tabes dah.

I know some of the people aje. The rest, not really sure. Are you aware that nuura never left a message in the cbox again ever since I said " Hai, Nuura! :)" to her?
Hoho, okay, revealing.
S is Sarah. a is Aishah. n is Nazim. z is Zharif (both of them were in my class last sem. And there are only 4 brothers in the class). alkf.. is Alkaff, but I called her Izzati. She's the class rep. We're supposed to give her the soft copy of our assignments,
I dunno who the heck is naktahu, bulan, noname(I guess it's Nuura), wait ah.. and nh.

Nuura is in fact...

A BOY!

Yup, I said " Hai Nuura! :)" and 'Nuura' never seemed to leave a single message afterwards, kan? Haha.

Itulah, siapa suruh guna nama Nuura? Ingatkan perempuan! Haish! Mana nak kenal semua nama budak perempuan dalam kelas tu? Dahlah ada budak AED dengan Engin. Mana nak kenal!
I was just being friendly of course. I thought Nuura is a girl.

Nuura is the short name of that boy. To make things worse, he's from DARUL QURAN! And Medcy's Dakwah and Tarbiyah's first year committee some more. I know la, since I'm from Lujnah 'Dakwah and Tarbiyah'. Haha. So imagine, a pious guy like him suddenly received a message " Hai Nuura! :)". How would he react? I rest my case as I couldn't stop laughing.

But seriously. Computer class was fun. And Madam is ever so sporting. I like her! Haha.

I'm bored. That's the reason I write this nonsense.
And yeah, I studied an EXTRA chapter, Chapter 5, 6 and 8. And the quiz's gonna come out from chapter 6 and 8 ONLY!
hoho.
Good work, Sarah. Good work..
Dah, pergi belajar!

What happened before computer class...

Last night, I was surfing the internet until it's almost 12 a.m and I suddenly decided to have a look at Mdm Fuhaina's website. I asked her a question regarding the assignment. Yup, she replied it all right, together with a surprising news.
"Group 7, Please be prepared. Your 2nd Quiz is on Tuesday,"

WTH!!! Today is Monday! (referring to yesterday). OMG! OMG! OMG! I sent message to Aisyah and she freaked out too. Luckily I've studied before but this is such a surprising news!
And so, I burnt the midnight oil until 2 something I supposed. When I felt sleepy, I went to the water cooler and splashed my face with the icy cold water. Grr... COLD!

I slept anyway and after subuh prayer, I studied like crazy.
Then, Bio Lab class. As expected, some of us don't know. Even Amina, a foreigner + my bio lab partner+computer classmate don't know about it. And she has maths exam coming up.
We decided to meet Madam after class, asking her to postpone our quiz to tomorrow.

Me, Amina, Kak Hawa and Fathihah met madam in her room.
At first she agreed then suddenly she changed her mind and asked
" Is it necessary to read your book for quiz?"
All of us nodded our head vigorously " Yes, of course, madam!"
And she replied back " Then what's the point of having lectures?"
We were speechless for a moment and suddenly I had something to say
With my left hand raised in style and determination, I said it out loud and clear with an air of confidence "We need to strengthen our knowledge, madam," and everyone quickly agreed . Ya Ya ya.. Madam curved a small smile.
" Well, you have a point there. Ok, let's make it tomorrow,"
Hahahahaha. A simple sentence really. And it changed Madam's mind, LOL.
So, the quiz will be held tomorrow!
Am I supposed to be studying or something?

Old Love and an overly dramatic post

Everyone, meet my first proper bicycle (without training wheels la)

I got this as a present from my dad for getting number three in the class. I was in Standard One and gosh, this bike really holds precious memories of my childhood.
Enough about the memories. I'm getting teared up *drama queen*.
The bike has done a wonderful service. Like, this is the bike where I hit Danial on the head, LOL. Seriously. the scar's still there. My mum was freaking mad! I used this bike to go to kelas mengaji. The bike where Syafiq and Syazwani rode (If I'm not mistaken) and both of them fell into the drain, wakakakaka. The precious bike, la. Don't tell me you didn't know how it feels to have your own bike?
As I grew up, my dad bought us a new mountain bike. And this old bike was left forgotten, but we still brought it together with us whenever dad got transferred to somewhere else.
After ELEVEN years , my mum has made a decision. She told my maid
" I want you to throw the bike away!" Away! Away! Away! That word echoed inside my head.

WHAT?? That sentence struck me in the chest, feeling a throbbing indescribable pain. Hoho.
But of course, If I argued with my mum, she will say
" What are you going to do with it? There are too many bicycles here. It's a mess! And you're going to college anyway,"

Fine. She has a point there. Well, I just took this picture on the day it's going to be thrown away. Sad,sad. I hope some Indonesian guy took this bike out of the trash and mend it. It breaks my heart to see my beloved bicycle being crashed and sold into separate parts to the besi buruk dealer. Hoho.
That's all from me. You'll always be in my heart, dear bicycle.

My name! My name!

A friend, Farah Humaira had her hand on the pen (keyboard, actually, LOL) writing fictions titled 'Ethan and Sarah'.
And when I asked her about the name 'Sarah' ,she admitted that she used my name as the main character for her story. She said she loves my name! OOOoooohhhh (perasan, perasan).
Anyway, her stories: (ermm, stories about me, the pretentious sarcastic :P)

Ethan and Sarah Chapter One
Ethan and Sarah Chapter Two
Ethan and Sarah Chapter Three
Ethan and Sarah Chapter Four

Anyway, I love your name too, Farah. Farah/Sarah is almost the same la. Haha.

I had an adventure, again!

(map of UIA PJ. You can estimate the distance that I have gone through. Click to enlarge)
It's difficult to separate Sarah Kushairi with adventures/mishaps/incidents that happened in her daily life, huh? LOL.
Only just now, I had quite an adventure. Well, for me, that is.
Just because I firmly hold on to my principle of not being a procrastinator, bad things happened to me just now. Oops, adventures! Though I'm quite exhausted right now, deep inside me, I am happy to experience all that I've experienced about 1 hour ago.
Recapping: Tasks this weekend
1. Laundry
2. Bio Lab reports
3.MUET practices -well, studying is a continuous process. You got to practice till the end.
4. Computer -not yet, hohoho
5. print the computer assignment THE DEADLIEST TASK OF ALL!!!

Of course, I don't want to wait until tomorrow to print out the assignment. I don't want to procrastinate! Firstly, I thought of printing it at somebody's room, who offered colour printing service at a very reasonable price of 50 cent! Unfortunately, as I made my way there, the room is dark, indicating that the occupants are away. Cannot procrastinate! My heart said. And so, about 10 something p.m just now, I put on my black jubah over my caftan and went down to the cyber cafe. I switched off the light, everything and I accidentally locked my door without taking the key with me! BLOODY!
Okay, relax Sarah. I quickly went to the C.C. Syuda was there. To my dissapointment, she said that there is no colour printing service in the C.C. Alamak. I went to the guard post of Mahallah Zainab Jahsy. Mak cik Guard was not there! Pergi merayau mana makcik guard ni???

I went to Mdm Asmeza's house. To my dissapointment (again), she said that she didn't hold the key. The key is with Miss Hartini! WHAT???!!! And she asked me to go to the Guard Post near CIMB to get the key. WTH, Next to ABC???

And so, I went there, together with a one ringgit note and my thumbdrive. I was wearing slippers at first and hastily changed to shoes. I walked down the stairs, passing through Busana, Administration Building and all the way through AMF Hall. It was a cold night and I shivered even when I wore 2 layers of clothes. Besides, CFS looks creepy at night.

TO MY DISMAY, Darling Pak Cik Guard was not there! Why pak cik guard likes to wander around huh? Isn't it someone's duty to sit quietly in the guard post??? I waited there for a couple of minutes. Sheesh.. Okay, never mind. I decided to go back to ZC to see whether Mak Cik Guard tersayang is there or not. And I have to climb up the stairs again! Ahh.. Mak Cik Guard tersayang still wasn't there!

I waited in the C.C with Syuda and told her about my 'adventures'. She said that the PLAZA C.C is open till midnight and is the ONLY C.C that has OpenOffice software. Okay fine. I went to the Plaza C.C. Got one guy in charge. Guess what, I only brought one ringgit note and the colour printing service is a bloody TWO RINGGIT!!!

Slightly abashed, I told that guy that I didn't bring enough money and I'll go back to get it. He just grinned sarcastically, WTH.

And off, from the Plaza, I had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get back to ZC C.C and borrowed money from Syuda. And went back to the Plaza again. I'm exhausted!

That was like, 8 times already- 4 times going up, 4 times going down. Midnight Marathon, LOL.

And on my way back to ZC, I've decided to try my luck to see whether the pakcik guard of ABC is there or not. But somehow, it doesn't make sense. Why would Mdm asked me to go and see the Pak Cik guard and ask for ZC's room key? I saw him all right, from a distance and I chased after the beloved pak cik guard, afraid that I'm never going to see him again (LOL).

I greeted the Pak Cik guard, gasping and telling him about my problem.

Just like what I had predicted. HE HAS NO BLOODY ZC'S KEY!!! Well, that's kind of obvious, right? What if the guys stole ZC's key from the guard post and intrude into the girl's hostel? That would have been surreal right?

And off, with a bloody sense of dissapointment and still a bit thrill for having to undergo these adventures, I went up the stairs to ZC (again). Mak cik guard is not there. I slipped my assignment under my room's door and waited downstairs. I walked to and fro around the guard post. My legs got really sore and I waited patiently at the cafe's chair, and at the stone chair in front of the office.

Feeling really tired, I went up to the TV area and I reckoned that I was going to spend the whole night waiting for Mak Cik Guard. Ummu approached me and I told her everything that happened. Both of us laughed. We even talked about Hana Yori Dango Final.

And suddenly, the greatest music I have ever heard

ding dong ding

" Perhatian kepada penghuni-penghuni level satu, bilik 111B, anda dikehendaki menutup aurat dengan sempurna kerana technician akan datang ke sana,"

Yes, dearest mak cik guard is in her office. Finally! I went there and asked for key. She looked mad. Mak cik guards are trained to make the student feel inferior towards them. Not me, though.

" Mak cik, saya nak kunci. Kunci tertinggal,"
" Jadi?" she asked like tak ada apa-apa yang terjadi.
" Kunci saya tertinggal dalam bilikla makcik! " and grinned.
" Asyik tertinggal aje!"
"Mak cik, ni baru first time la!!" (grinned)
" Budak-budak Aisyah tak tinggal pun,"
"Lah, sorrylah makcik!" I said and grinned.
" Nah, amik ni," she gave me the log book.
"Okay," I merrily said. (And grinned). Nak approach makcik guard ni kena sentiasa grin. Baru sejuk sikit hati diorang :P

" While writing my name, I babbled about how I got to go down to the ABC guard post, because Madam Asmeza told me to do so, bla-bla-bla.
and Makcik guard said " Kenapa tak mintak kat principal?"

" Madam takde kunci,"
"Macam mana pulak madam takde kunci? Dia sepatutnya kena pegang kunci office mahallah,"
" Dia bagi kunci kat Miss Hartini," I replied.
" Sepatutnya Mdm kena tolong student amik kunci. Budak ZC melampau sangat kot, asyik tertinggal kunci je,"
I just ignored her. Apa-apalah makcik.
And she saw me clutching my thumbdrive.
"Ni bawak apa ni?"
" Pendrive. Tadi saya nak pergi C.C nak print tapi tertinggal kunci," I grinned helplessly again.
And I saw the makcik's once stern feature slowly curved into a small smile.

"Ni, tak bawak apa-apa ni?"
" Huh? Bawak apa? Tak," I was confused with her question.
" Matric card?"
" Tak,"
" Handphone?"
"Tak," I said lamely.

"Habis tu kamu nak bagi apa kat mak cik? Nanti kamu bawak lari kunci," (she didn't exactly say this but those other students usually took a long time to return back the key to the office. And the mak cik guard had to make announcement, figuratively 'begging' them to return the keys back to her. Bloody those students!)
hek eleh makcik. Macam orang nak sangat.
" Okaylah, makcik amik ni," I put my thumbdrive on her table.

And she curved a small smile again.

" Cepat sikit!"
"Okay, terima kasih makcik!"
I went upstairs to my room, opened the door,
ARGHHH!!!!
I accidentally stepped on my assignment! I FORGOT that I slipped it through my door!
I quickly put my gigantic Campbell's Biology Book over it. Ok, it's ok now.
I went downstairs, gave back the key to her. FUHHH!!!
And I am typing this.

I once said to Syidah " Isn't it great if we experienced lots of adventures like what we saw on TV?"
Well, though it's not really an adventure to those who are reading this, it IS an adventure for me.
I'm looking forward for more adventures! Please!
Like, small crimes? And solving them? Kidnap case? Hoho, I got influenced by Matsumoto Jun's character in Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo.

Well, vowing not to procrastinate is really good. But to the extent of troubling yourself, it's not worth it. After all, 3 more days till the due date. Huhu.
Plus, I was alone, at night! No one accompanied me. It's cool. Being alone added to the thrill and adventure! Haha. Jem asked where's my roommate? Jem sayang, my roomie went back home. If she's here, then I wouldn't have gone through all these. LOL

That's all from me. I hope you enjoy my story.

Continuity from the previous post...Random pictures from first semester.

Cranky!

Good new for MUET Speaking. You are given 2 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes ONLY :-) to present! Hehe.
But then I've decided to ask my mum about something. I texted her. 12.26 a.m kan, wouldn't want to disturb her sleep. Eh, proper English, Sarah!

" Emak. Muet speaking tu nak berapa points? Utk first task,"

Unfortunately the message is failed to be sent.NO!!! Several speculations (only one, LOL) arouse on my mind
" Mak lupa bayar bil phone ke?"
And I tried calling her. There's the dial tone. Relieved!
Maybe there's something wrong with the Celcom service at these hours of the night.
My mum called me afterwards. Saying that we should have at least 3 points
Yup, I'm getting cranky. I'm alone in the room so I can forever switching on the light without worrying whether I'm disturbing Syidah or not.
A sudden interest towards flip mobile phones suddenly developed within me. Hoho. Thanks to Hana Yori Dango. All of them are using flip phones!
I want a flip phone! Mengada-ngada pulak budak ni!

Oh yes, currently chatting with my roomie Syidah who is now residing comfortably in her house. Huhu.
That's all. Assalamualaikum.

MUET

I'm currently doing the listening practice for MUET. Don't worry. It's not that difficult compared to EPT Listening. In fact, they will play the track twice. Once for the mere purpose of listening what craps are the speakers talking about. But of course, don't be so stupid to leave your pen. Don't ever leave it! Jot down the notes. And when they played it the second time, you can just check your answers and still listening, of course.

But the track is quite fast and that's really dangerous, LOL. And of course, some of the unidentifiable accent that can get you confused.
I made one mistake just now.
The speaker said 'want'im' to succeed (want him to succeed) and I wrote 'wanted to succeed'. Hoho, freaky!

By the way, what am I doing at this time of the night (it's past midnight), practicising MUET?
Oh, kena practise MUET. Wait my mum will ask me about it and get mad if I told her I was watching video instead of studying (MUET included). NO!!! Oh yeah, tengoklah. Bahasa Melayu dengan English bercampur aduk. Manglish pulak tu! Macam mana ni??!!!

Secara tuntasnya (dunno what's the meaning), kena study MUET. Plus writing and speaking in proper English!
Wish me luck, ok?

Sleep Paralysis Part 2

Anyone who has read(care to read) my previous post knows that I'm currently suffering from sleep paralysis. Jem said that she has read about it in somebody's blog and that person went to see the neurologist. Sign of brain damage? I know that I'm a bit loony and cranky sometimes but to the extent of having neurological disorder? Preposterous!
Anyway, I've googled up about sleep paralysis again. True, having sleep paralysis makes me afraid to sleep at night and even take a short nap. I hope I'm not going to get insomnia. Nak kata tension, tension lah sangat. 2 subjek je pun waktu short sem.

Step1 Maintain healthy sleeping and eating habits. Get ample sleep and stick to a routine schedule. Limit intake of sugary foods, alcohol and caffeine.

Step2 Minimize stress and participate in exercise frequently. Stress seems to be a contributing factor to a rise in sleep paralysis incidents. Exercise alleviates stress and improves sleep quality.

Step3 Maintain a journal of your daily activities, diet and sleep schedule. Look for patterns, such as increased incidents of sleep paralysis on days you went to sleep late.

Step4 Sit up and look at a bright light for a few minutes if you find yourself experiencing sleep paralysis upon going to sleep.
Step5 Attempt to end sleep paralysis by moving smaller muscle groups, such as those in your face, fingers, toes or tongue.

Step6 Wake yourself up from sleep paralysis episodes by taking increasingly bigger breaths.

Step7 Consult with your doctor to determine if your sleep paralysis can be attributed to another sleep disorder, such as sleep apnea or narcolepsy. Participate in a sleep study if necessary.

Step8 Review side effects of current medications with your doctor or pharmacist. Some
medications increase sleep paralysis incidents.

Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, I'm gonna
1. Do laundry- again!
2. Print out my computer assignment! (I've finished doing just now! and the due date is on the 15th! Yippee!)
3. Totally complete and finish out my bio lab reports. Due date, Thursday next week! Hehe. Almost finish anyway. Need to discuss. I'm not going to procrastinate.
I will do all these in the morning and maybe till afternoon.
4. On the evening, I will read and reread 'Computing Essentials 2008', covering all chapters that are going to come out in mid sem. And studying for the second quiz too. Though madam didn't say when is the quiz and she haven't covered up the basic applications and specialized applications. I'm going to cover them up by myself! Except for the Computer Lab part. I'm not really good in Computer Lab, LOL. And must get FULL MARKS for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th quizzes! And must get the highest, AGAIN! Huhu.
5. Right now, watching the 'Love Contract' starring Ariel Lin and Mike He, who's damn hot! Hahaha.
6. Fizah came to my room just now and we sort of discussed about Bio Lab reports. She had intended to borrow my lab coat but she has forgotten it! Maybe we were too preoccupied with the reports, LOL. So she's coming to my room tomorrow. Hohoho.
7. Hazie's going back to Penang. Syidah too. Oh my goodness.
8. And my dad's going to come to KL because he has to attend a meeting (AGAIN!) there. So he'll visit me. Yippee! Hehe.
9. My mum constantly worried whether I have studied enough or what. I have finished reading two chapters of computer last night. Kind of burnt the midnight oil. And she's not really happy when she called me yesterday, when I told her I was watching video with Syidah. But mum (cue Andy's voice from Child's Play). I have nothing else to do. I've completed the bio lab reports that I've sent during the Bio Lab class this morning and I've continously reading the computer book and even started on the assignment. And madam haven't even given us the rubrics. Nothing else to do. It's better to watch video than to sleep all afternoon, right?
10. And that's when I've forgotten something. Computer, Bio Lab and MUET!!!!
Oh no! I must study for MUET! Huhu. Must get at least BAND 5! It will be quite embarrassing not to score in it as my mum teaches MUET and is also the examiner for that particular exam. Huhu.
11. Now, let's recap the tasks that I'm going to and HAVE TO do this weekend.
a) Laundry!- kerja paling bosan!
b) Print out computer assignment. But have to ask for onfirmation from Madam regarding the drop cap and bullet stuffs.
c) Complete the Bio Lab reports.
d) Cover up all the chapters in Computer that are going to come out for mid semester. And extra concentration on the topics that are going to come out in the 2nd quiz. Quizzed make up about 20% of the total marks. Can't afford to screw them up!
e) Study for MUET. Listening, Reading and Writing. Erkk. Speaking? Dear wall, could you be my faithful listener? :P
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. FOUR DAYS of no lectures, SARAH! DOn't tell me you can't accomplish all these stuffs?
11. I've found out something about sleep paralysis. Some said that it is a sign for cancer. Oh tidak! I hope not! Oh dear.
Anyway, UIA's wireless is pissing me off sometimes. I was so busy and preoccupied while typing this post (and the previous ones) and when I clicked on the 'publish post' button. LOW and BEHOLD!
NO SERVER!
Ahh, and the 'best' part is, the blogger didn't save the remaining of my post as there was no connection, right? Haha, GOOD!

First Bio Lab lesson..

GOSH, it was EXHAUSTING!!!! Emotionally and mentally, ahaha.
Never mind, it's just a first class fter all, I hope I can get used to it.
Oh man, seriously. You have to be quick ad there's not much time left! Once you sit on the stool, relaxing for a moment and shaking your legs, that's it. You will be left out. EKKK..
And having good lab partner really helps a lot.
Miss my old friends! FIZAH!!! I want to have you as lab partner anytime you want! Syau too! Even Hazie! Siti! Sharifah! Fatihah! Ain! Azizah! Hoho, so many. MISS THEM!!! I really hope that we will be in the same group next semester! PLIZZ!!!
Anyway, the best part is that, Brother Mahathir will be teaching us! I can imagine the word envy written on my friends's faces once I told them about it. Wakakakaka.
Anyway, exhausting, seriously. For me, la. But it's pretty exciting, hahaha.
Okay, 4 Flat ok??
Gotta read the BIo Lab Manual, HOHOHOHO..
Adieu.

Stories from 129A

Don't bother about the title. Just try to make it more interesting, LOL. So, what's cookin'? Well, including today, I have spent 4 days and 3 nights in 'beloved' CFS IIUM, better known as UIA PJ. I got a new room. And it's directly facing Abu Bakar College a.k.a ABC ( THE GUYS' HOSTEL!!!!). WTH? Seriously, they have balconies that are facing Zainab College. And when those guys went on basking themselves, I could clearly see which one of them are wearing spectacles or not!

And thus, we(Syidah and I) had to refrain ourselves from looking at the outside world, cooping in our dark crib and and not breathing in so-called fresh air by not drawing open the curtain in the morning as of course, they could see us!

Anyway, life this week is quite a nuisance. Guess what? I've forgotten to bring several important things! Toothbrush and TOWEL! WTH?? Don't worry, yours truly has managed to buy the toothbrush from the ZC kiosk, which is located directly below our room. But towel? Well, she have to survive the whole freaking week by just using the GOOD MORNING towel she had found and bought from the same kiosk. WTH? And each time she takes a shower, her hair will be dripping wet as of course, the good morning towel has a low degree of absorption and couldn't possibly cover her whole hair.

Anyway, UIA had installed wireless. Bonus for residents of Block A is that, we can switch to whatever wireless connection available(e.g. TENDA, UM, UTM, hoho) rather than using the strictly monitored UIA community wireless. We can't even finish watching youtube! I've tried it before. After waiting for 15 freaking minutes, the video still hasn't finished loading. BAKA! Well, WTH. I should be thankful. And UIA's not providing wifi so that its students can watch youtube, right?

Currently in my reading list.

1. Erti Rindu Ini by Zara Juita. Hazie just borrowed it, LOL. So what? I do read Malay novels ok? Though the title is a bit cheesy.
2. Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. I LOVE THIS BOOK! I have countlessly read it and it never failed to capture my interest to keep reading it over and over again. And I LOVE PHILEAS FOGG!!! His personality, I mean, hehe.
3. The Moth Diaries by Rachel Klein
4. The Storyteller's Daughter by Saira Khan. A documentary novel. Fall in love with it. Her ways of writing is SUPERB!
5. AsianFanatic.net. by LOL, FANS! READING MaoJun's gossips! MaoJun refers to Inoue Mao and Matsumoto Jun, by the way. 48 pages!
6. Computer Essentials 2008 by Linda O'Leary and her husband. Compulsory to read it la.

I have 4 days free of lectures and only THREE days of lectures in a WEEK! Hoho. Isn't it great?? :) But of course. Must not waste the time by just sufing aimlessly in the internet realm. Must get 4 FLAT!!!

Playing.
1. The Sims. I love experimenting with the sims. To this date, I've created a very loving family consisting of Jun Matsumoto XD, Sarah Matsumoto( Tak boleh blah!) and our children ;P Adam Matsumoto who obtained A+ in his school grade and Shizuka Matsumoto, another brilliant child who obtained A in her school grade. Wakakaka.

And just created a new family. It is very chaotic. This is the story.

One guy and two ladies living under the same roof. So maybe I thought of creating possible scenarios that could happen to them. Jeremy Couple, Christine Couple and Maria Couple. Jeremy and Christine are very good looking. There's a downside. He is a player. He loves Christine as much as he loves Maria, the ugliest woman I have ever created. Maria has no personalities at all. (Because I didn't use the personality points at all! Told you, I love experimenting :D ). Maria is very difficult to be approached and she finds insulting people is entertaining. But Jeremy persevere and being a player he is, he doesn't care whether Maria is ugly or not (No Offence to girls whose name is Maria out there). And tada. Maria fell in love with him. And when they got mushy with each other, Christine keeps on looking at both of them ( Jeremy and Maria) and got jealous. She then slapped Maria. Their relationship got worse by each moments and they have turned into enemies.
And so, I decided to build a wall around Maria (literally). And let her spends her life there, with mounting hopes that she will die soon. To my dismay, she didn't die. OMG! WTH? Is she a human or what?? (you will get what I mean if you played SIMS).

I got bored already and evicted the whole family. And moving them again into a new house. Jeremy and Christine further tighten their relationship with the arrival of a baby boy named Jeremy Jr. They couldn't take care of it responsibly and the woman form the Child Care whatever that is took the child away from them. WAKAKAKAKA. I built a swimming pool and enticed Maria to swim in it. As soon as she got herself in the pool. I sold the ladder thing ( the one on the pool) so that she can't get out of the pool! Hahaha. Sims can be so stupid. They can't get out of the swimming pool without the LADDER! WAKAKAKAKA. Then, she died of drowning and got a tomb there. I placed the tomb next to Christine and put a wall around her. I hope that Maria's spirit will be awaken and that she will haunt Christine. Huhuhuhu. But to no avail, her ghost didn't appear la! I got bored already and didn't save the game, WTH.

And that's the end of the stories from 129A. Stay tuned for more stories!

Jonas Brothers fever

It's official. I'm (almost) having the Jonas Brothers' fever. I had their songs played in my head over and over again.

'Lovebug', particularly. *grins sheepishly*

Thanks to my 'darling' siblings, who are the fans of Jonas brothers, I am now, welcomed to join their group. I'm in already, I mean.

Syazawani especially. It seems like she memorized the facts on Jonas Brothers more than she memorized 'Sejarah Keruntuhan Kerajaan Kesultanan Melayu Melaka'.

For instance

' Joe Jonas wears glasses'

Me: Really? I don't know that! Guess we have something in common then, tee hee...

' They got one brother, who's chubby/fat'

Me: Oh, okay.

My siblings even asked me to buy a new keyboard as my organ has yet to be repaired *sigh*.

And we're gonna set up our own band. Hahaha.

'Camp Rock' punya pasal.

Danial even said that he wanted to set up a 'Camp Rock' in Malaysia. Double Haha!

I'm going to download all Jonas Brothers' song available to my phone. :)
Nope, I rarely listened to Nasyid songs. It doesn't mean that I'm a sinful person...:P And 'rarely listened' doesn't mean I dislike them, loathe them. I DO LIKE SOME OF THE SONGS, OKAY.
And the same goes with English/American songs.
So please, be meticulous when you're judging people. I said this to anyone in particular.
And one more thing. I love CFS song. Anything wrong with that? ;P

KC-ians in ZC and AC

As we all- the fellow students of CFS IIUM know, the Kingdom Hospital (Khadijah College) is undergoing renovation works. One of them includes painting the whole scary ex-hospital(such word??) building. Good. Consequences come after that.
The good news is, the 4th floor of ZC is going to be occupied by some fellow KC-ians. Haha, Kesian..Get it? LOL. In addition to the present ZC-ians of course. SO, the more the merrier! Some of my good friends from KC are going to stay at ZC! But it's a pity of course.
1. Most of them will be staying at Level 4.
2. No lifts-unlike their previous Mahallah.
3. The rooms are SMALL! I mean, the rooms in KC are 2 to 3 times bigger than ours! I know, I've been there..:)
4. Duh, they will complain with all their might. Huhu. No offence, fellow KC-ians.At least you're in ZC! Not AC! Be grateful! Grateful!

Apparently, I've heard some not so pleasing stories about Level 4 of ZC. Someone claimed that they saw a 'Hantu Pocong' hopping at the dark gloomy corridors of Level 4 ZC. I know, I've been there. Thank God I didn't meet any non-biological life forms. Huhu.
Here is how it goes.
In the early semester, I was going to Hazie's room, which is situated in Level 4. Staying in ZC for just a couple of weeks, I didn't really know my way there. And her room is in Block A. Guess what? I thought that if I straight away go upstairs to level 4 from my level (level 1), I could just go around the building and reach Block A straight away. Instead of going downstairs and climb all the way up to Block A again. (In ZC, Block A is separated from the three other blocks, I was clearly not aware of the facts. You know what? It's creepy up there. The rooms are unocccupied, and the toilets are DARK. No lightings. And so, I went round and round the block, failed to find any room number that ends with the letter A. As I went round and round, I saw the same girl at the TV area twice. Only then did I realise that I've gone around the building three times, I think! And seriously, the feeling is unbearable. Level 4 is filled with extreme quietness, and loneliness. The shoes' racks were not filled with shoes as it should be and the dustbins are spotless and being toppled down. Even the places where we hang our clothes are left unoccupied without clothes, which is a rare sight. It was so quiet. And the toilets are DARK and GLOOMY. There was not a single soul there except me. As I speed up, realising where I had gone wrong, TADA! A door mysteriously opened by itself! And it was DARK inside! You guys could have guessed what was my reaction after that? CABUTLAHHHH!!!!
And luckily I didn't hear anything about the 'Hantu Pocong' story at that time. If not, I wouldn't have dared to go up ever again. But Nabila told me that there IS a room in Level 4 of which the lock is damaged. SO, maybe that's the room! Maybe, maybe not. I don't care.

Ermm, yes.Back to KC-ians. The bad news for us ZC-ians are.
1. Our one and only cafe will be crowded with girls from all three colleges! And what's more, there are even THIRD INTAKE students!
2. More madness, I can tell you that.
3. The TV area will be fully occupied. There will be no seats left! Full house! (as if!)
4. Battle for the washing machines!!! Huhu.
5. Everyone have to wake up early in the morning because MORE people will be queuing to use the shower stalls and loos.

AC? Huhu. No comment. I heard that it has been abandoned for several months. And Kak Bahijah(my usrah sister) told us that the conditions there are not really good. With leaked roofs and all. Whatever it is, WELCOME KC-ians to the family of Mahallah Zainab Jahsy. Sooner we all will be ZC-ian. Haha.

Be strong

Okay fine...It's not like it's that bad. I mean, it's not actually the grade that you had predicted you would get (mind the grammar). I mean, come on, be STRONG, SARAH! And everyone of you, I strongly suggest you to watch MEET THE ROBINSONS! Trust me, it's worth it!
I kept on watching Meet the Robinsons one more time. And from there, I can conclude that FAILURE is NOT FATAL, nor that success can continue throughout our life. And so, I present you my result, of which I copied and paste dit directly from the site. Go on, LAUGH ALL YOU WANT! feel free to interpret it howsoever! It's not like I care..:(
Code Subject Credithour Grade
HMM1114 MATHEMATICS 1 4 B+
HMM1414 BIOLOGY 1 4 A-
LEM6012 ENGLISH LANGUAGE VI 2 A
LQM1061 ELEMENTARY QURANIC LANGUAGE ( PART 1) 0 B+
GPA : 3.6
CGPA : 3.6
Yes, it's unpredictable! It's 3.6!!!! ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!
I am forever eternally grateful to Allah SWT for giving me this second chance. Huhu. Seriously, my head keep forming the number 3.33 ever and ever! I thought I'm going to get that. And so, I prepared myself to predict for the worst. And hope for the best, of course.
Congrats to Hazie and Wani! They got 3.734! WOW! AWESOME!!!
At first, seriously. I can't believe I got a B+ for my final grade. Let me tell you something. I failed my Maths Mid Sem. And my carry marks is only 24.6 over 50, thanks to my maths mid sem. But I didn't give up. And SERIOUSLY! I had hoped that I will get at least a B for final grade and an A for Biology! I'VE MADE IT! To get at least B+ for my final maths grade, I will have to get at least 92 for my Maths Final paper. Not to brag of course but, it shows that in Maths Final, I achieved 90 something for FINAL! Alhamdulillah! Again, not to brag or anything. Sorry if I made any of you feel uncomfortable. But just like what I've said earlier, failure is not fatal. And success can't continue IF I'm complacent. Hopefully I will always berpijak di bumi yang nyata, huhu.
Ok,enough already. I got to study HARDER next semester and get 4 FLAT!!! OH YES!!!!
Though I'm a teensy weensy dissapointed coz I got an A- for BIo. Oh well, I don't care already!!! :D
Alhamdulillah. Syukur. Oh yeah, a B+ for Arabic final grade and exempted from English! Well, not exactly exempted, you see. But I'm not going to repeat Arabic and EPT next semester!

Okay, continue later. I want to watch 'Olivia'. Hehe...

Randomness again..

Now it's HAZIE who's trying to freak me out.
No, it's not gonna work. :D
wow, EIGHT posts in a night?

Inspiring...

'Meet The Robinsons' soundtrack. By Rob Thomas. I've always loved inspiring songs and lyrics. Now, who said that music is sinful?

let it go,
let it roll right off your shoulder
don't you know
the hardest part is over
let it in,
let your clarity define you
in the end
we will only just remember
how it feels
our lives are made
in these small hours
these little wonders,
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away, but these small hours,
these small hours still remain
let it slide,
let your troubles fall behind you
let it shine
until you feel it all around you
and i don't mind
if it's me you need to turn to
we'll get by,
it's the heart that really matters
in the end

all of my regret
will wash away some how
but i can not forget
the way i feel right now

I simply LOVE 'Meet the Robinsons' ! :D

Meet The Robinsons!

Seriously, 'Meet the Robinsons' is the BEST Disney movie ever produced, yeah and that includes the non-animated ones.
It is VERY inspirational, you got to watch it if you haven't. And if you had, you got to watch it again and again! :D
Funny how an animated film almost brought tears to my eyes. Maybe it's because it shows that future is...well..future is UNPREDICTABLE!
Same goes to me here. No matter what result that I might get tomorrow, I will survive and KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!
I mean, it's not like I didn't study at all! I DID! All my best!
I did complained, and grunted sometimes(in college, not here) because of my low carry marks (because of my low mid semester marks) that is really going to bring a big impact on my final grade. But I really studied for my finals to compensate them. Enough said. And I did my best during finals. So, that's it. No regret. Dean's List? It's ok if it's not meant for me. I'll try harder with continuous efforts next semester.
'KEEP MOVING FORWARD'
That's the motto of Walt Disney which is inserted in the film.
It shows that although you are facing hard times in your present life, or that you had had bitter memories of the past, BUT... who knows you might have a bright, exciting future that appeals to you at that time.
Let bygones be bygones. So, I don't really care about what tomorrow lies in store for me. Starting with the moment I got to know my result and the events that follow after it.
We just have to KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious...and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

I don't really know what Walt Disney meant about being curious and all. But in my interpretation, it seems that

Around here,(in life) however, we don't look backwards for very long (stop whining or regretting the past). We keep moving forward, opening new doors and doing new things, because we're curious to know what life has in store for us, and how it will lead us in the future. And with that sense of curiousity, we dare to explore new things in life, we dare to take chances, we dare to take risks, we are brave enough to face failures, and although we keep on falling or failing, (in this case, you can watch 'Meet the Robonsons') those obstacles that we once faced will lead and mould us to what we will become in the future. Life is but a series of lessons, you know.Hahaks..EMO.

Okay then, I'm feeling spirited and inspired! I must be optimistic! I am NOT afraid of FAILURES! NO!
And I don't care what people think about me either now or later. I just couldn't be bothered! I've got far MORE important things to think about rather than to think of what people think of me.
To tell the truth, I was feeling a little demotivated just now. But, who would have guess watching a mere Disney Animated Film could be so THERAPEUTIC?
I mean, I can say that I'm lucky to be able to watch this. I've been wanting to watch 'Meet the Robinsons' since EVER! And I just watched it just now!

Whoever said that Disney Films are so...INFANTILE, IMMATURE, OVERRATED , cut the bullshit ! COZ YOU ARE LAME! Spell it! L-A-M-E!

Haha, Blogging is therapeutic too! I can rant almost about anything! And I don't care what ngative perceptions people have upon reading my blog posts. As long as I'm not going to be arrested by the ISA and be put into jail. Oh, I don't care :)

Emotion-less

Seriously, I don't feel a thing right now.
A few of my friends are freaking out because of the imminent Semester 1 result.
Oh, bother.
Seriously, I don't feel that scared or even excited to know about my result.
Maybe the time has not come yet. Maybe I will be the one who's going to be fretting too much.
Jem said it feels like SPM. SPM? Not really. The feeling that I had while waiting for SPM result is..UNBEARABLE!
This? I'm emotion-less, I tell you.
Today is the 2nd, tomorrow's the 3rd, then 4th and 5th.
Actually, I'm quite bored. I'm tired of waiting. I want to know my result now, though of course, it's not gonna be that good, I think.
I'm tired of high expectations.
When my mum asked "What do you think you'll get?"
I just shrugged and laughed " Haha, I dunno,"
Seriously, MALAS NAK PIKIR!
One thing for sure. I've tried and done my BEST. So, that's it. Nothing to be scared of. If I do get it, Alhamdulillah. If not, just try again for the next semester. I'm not a pessimist.
Waktu belajar hari tu, otak dah tepu nak ingat notes Bio.
Dah macam zombi . Tidur pun termimpikan Maths dengan types of cartilages(too bad it didn't come out)
Mr.Result, I'm welcoming you with open arms... :)

Happy Birthday!

I would like to wish Happy 16th Birthday to my brother, Syafiq. May God bless you. And though you can be VERY annoying sometimes, you're still my brother,ok?
STUDY HARD for SPM and all the best in achieving your dreams.

Yes! Yes! Yes!!!!!!

YES! I've finally found where to watch all nine seasons of X Files ONLINE! YESSIE!!!
Oh God, I was very happy the last few minutes. But now..urmm..I don't feel a thing. Oh well.
Episode 1 is loading right now. And it's quite slow. Oh, who cares. Patience is a virtue anyway. But, just wasting your time to wait for it to finish loading? OKAY, I DON'T CARE!!
:)

I'm not in the picture, enough said...:P

My stalking skills pays off! Haha, look what I've found. My GPDP Group. The MOST hilarious group ever! Alamak, Toilet Guy is not there. Oh yeah, he was the one who snapped the photo. WTH la...

The picture's too small, ain't it? ;P
Wait seminit, what's Hazim doing? He's not looking at the camera!
Refresh, Hazim is my English classmate. And he's ONE year younger. Hazie and I regard him as our own brother. Hahahaha..
EDIT: Jem, my schoolmate for NINE years, my classmate for SIX years, FAILED to detect me! (Shook my head in disbelief)

The Wonderful World of CFS

Syidah and I once played a game to entertain our guest (neighbours who came to our room). And they agreed that we are HILARIOUS! Thanks for the compliments though.
What activities did we actually do when they come to our room?
Nabilah recorded a video of us (Syidah and me) roleplaying some real life scenes. For example, Syidah imitating me and Nabilah, and I imitating Aishah when she is talking to her boyfriend. Hahahaha. Oops!
We (Me, Syidah, Aishah and Nabilah) once did a horror stories night. The four of us would gather in my room and we would spook each others with creepy stories that we have heard or encountered before and later when we realized it, it’s already 2 a.m. And we got classes tomorrow!
Sometimes, we would just listen to stories.
Sometimes, we would just laugh for no reason.

Okay, the game. It’s a creatively created game. Syidah and I created it. :P We imagined that CFS is the most wonderful place on Earth. Everything is provided here. Our lives are filled with luxuries and comfort.

Zainab College is actually Palace of the Golden Horses Hotel. We are living in big suites. And since the fourth floor is unoccupied, we assumed that the fourth floor is the penthouse and no one stayed there because they can’t afford to pay the high rate.
Kiosk ZC is actually One Utama. We could spend the whole day there browsing and wandering around the BIG and SPACIOUS mega shopping mall and then, ending up at the same place(sarcastic!). Sometimes, there would be sales, we assumed.
Cyber Café ZC is actually- I forgotla. Haha.
Café ZC is actually Starbucks. The prices of food are high there. Of coursela, it’s Starbucks, what? *shook my head in disbelief*
Madam Asmeza, the principal of ZC is the owner of the hotel. Syidah and I bragged that Madam once invited us to dinner at her suite(whatever). Well, it’s true. That incident happened during the Eid celebration in ZC. I saw Madam and greeted her. She invited me to try the Laksa Johor of which she served at her house. As I could only find Syidah and Aisyah was nowhere to be found, the both of us went to her house(though Syidah was reluctant at first) where there were two other fellows there. Yes, and we ate Laksa Johor there. During the game, Syidah bragged that the both of us got to sit on the chairs, whereas the others had to sit on the floor! We both laughed while Nabilah and Syakila rolled their eyes.
The CFS Library is actually MPH bookstores. 3 storeys! It could also be the National Library.
The ATM machines are the Bank Negara.
The Al-Malik Faisal Hall is PWTC.
The clinic is Pantai Specialist Hospital.
The small optometry kiosk is Focus Point.
EDIT: ZC Gymnasium is Fitness First. Yes! We have a gym! Unbelievable, right??
There are Jacuzzis in our bathrooms. Nabilah interrupted us by saying “ There are also bathtubs right?” Syidah waved her hand dismissively and said “ Bath tubs are low class, we have jacuzzisla!”
The TV areas in ZC are Golden Screen Cinemas.
Everyday, there would be housekeepers who come and clean our rooms and bathrooms ( Indonesian maids)
Blok E is British Chalet-eh, it’s true!
Our window is facing ZC’s badminton court. In the middle. It’s like a courtyard, you know. And the court is a badminton stadium, I think, Really? Syidah bragged that she once saw Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan played there. They came here by a helicopter. Everyone was cheering and drooling over Lin Dan but she only has eyes for her ex-husband, Lee Chong Wei.
You know the nursery? And that there is a mini pool and slide for the little children to play with? That’s SUNWAY LAGOON! Daniel Bego once swimmed there. Syidah claimed.
The football field in front of UKC is Stadium Negara. Haha, as if!
As the people here are so wealthy, rich and loaded, we are guarded 24-hours by the top security guards. The FBIs. Low and behold, The PAKCIK GUARD AND MAKCIK GUARD!
ABC is Zoo Negara. Dunno why. Brother Mahathir once said this. Haha
What else? I can’t remember. Okay, we’ll play the games again! And will strive our best to imagine that CFS is the BEST PLACE ON EARTH!

..and a sarcastic was born on that date..

Happy 18th Birthday to me! :D
I can't believe I'm getting old!
Thanks to those who wished me Happy Birthday!
Farahin- she's the earliest, haha. 12th of OCTOBER! Then, Bun, haha. 13th of October! And Mariam, last night(morning?) at 12 something a.m. On 14th October. And others as well. My siblings? Only Danial. In friendster, of course.
Then my father. Just this morning. My mum forgot..:P. She sent me a message. Okay, a doa because I told her I am stressed out for the imminent examination! Maths!!! Second time she called me, I thought she will remember. Instead, she asked " Have you woke up? You have to chant the doa that I have given you. What are you going to do next? When are you going to study? What did you study yesterday?" Okay, things like that.
Never mindla, she got other things to attend to, I think. Her worries over my examination has made her forgotten about the birthday of her first ever child! Muahahahaha.
EDIT: She did remember, urmm, she sent me the birthday wish in the afternoon. Syafiq too.Haha. We're gonna have prior celebration when I get home.
And, yes, I'm worried about my Maths. Okay, relax. You can do it!!!
What's worse that having to celebrate your birthday during times of examinations???
Yes, the doa. It's really helpful on the time like this.
Only Allah can help me.
That is, if I help myself.
I'm trying my best here!
Wish me luck!!!

MUET

I just found out those who got Band 6 in MUET are entitled to get RM 1000 from Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia.
How AWESOME is that???!!!
I have to work hard! Please, I want to get the RM1000.
Apparently, I don't have any idea on what to write about.
Hahaha.

I'm addicted to...

I'm currently addicted to the X Files and went on watching all (almost) the video clips available in youtube. You know, it's so unfair! Singapore got this one AWESOME channel, AXN Beyond and they show all those cult and supernatural shows like The X files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, Angels, Roswell and many more! It's so UNFAIR!
I've just realised that I'm addicted to X Files after haven't seen the series for like, SIX years already! Perfect timing, huh? Eh, I still study for Finals, okay.
I think Mulder and Scully are the MOST PERFECT couple ever! Isn't it great if they are together in real life? And if it's not fictional, of course.
Well, I almost cry when I watch this video. It reminds me when I got the news that my grandmother passed away. Soon after that, I listened to this song.
So, enjoy! ( I hope!)

I'm aware of that, thank you..

Yes, I'm aware of the fact that I have committed enormous amount of grammatical errors in my blog posts. Also, the inappropriate usage of phrasal verbs and all. Well, I'm still learning. And yes, many spelling errors. Not spelling errors of course, but typing errors.
Why am I posting this? my mum read my blog and she commented that " Grammar semua berterabur. Present tense, past tense semua campur aduk," Hahaha, Okay mum.
And off I distracted her to read Tun Dr. Mahathir's blog.
Well, we read his blog. I am very impressed with his immaculate English. I'll look him as my mentor. Haha.
Tun Dr. Mahathir. My whole family respected him. We are his supporters but not avid supporters of course. We admire his visions and the changes that he had brought to the country.
I first read his biography- a thick book entitled Mahathir-Riwayat Gagah Berani(well, something like that) when I was only nine years old! Cool, huh?
That's all from me. Selamat Hari Raya and Happy Holiday I wish to everyone!

Tales of a Sarah

One funny incident that I would like to recall. It's quite embarrassing but oh well.
I might as well blurt them all out.
During mid semester break, I was so busy studying (and enjoying my leisure time, hehe) when suddenly this bus guy sent me a very disturbing message, saying that the bus will depart one day earlier.
I was like WHAT???????
And of course, having no choice, I just GOT to take the bus on that date.
So many things that have to be done. Done them all.
The bus was supposed to fetch me at about 11 pm. And of course, them being so punctual, arrived about almost 12 a.m.
I saw the bus first. And off I went frantically running fter the bus. After a brief moment of teary eyes with family, of course. LOL.
OK. UIA bus. Why does it look so different? I was thinking at that time.
Fine.
Wait, why got so many people? I have no choice but to squeeze on the back seat.
Hang on. I thought the brothers supposed to sit at the back. Now, why the sisters are taking over.
My eyes searched wildly for the sight of Husna, my friend. Who's supposed be with me. In the same bus.
I called her and said.
" Husna, Bas dah datang! Saya dah naik bas!"
And....guess what?
" Sarah, saya tak nampak bas pun. Awak suruhlah bas tunggu. Awak kat mana?"
" Saya kat Jalan Kereta Api tu. Cepat naik! Bas dah nak jalan!"
" Awak, suruh tunggu!"
" Okay, okay,"
I put down my phone and asked that Kakak. I was so relieved that I got to take the bus. Hehe.
" Kak, tunggu! Kawan saya belum naik!"
" Siapa?" that Kakak asked.
" Nama dia Husna!"
That kakak checked through her list. Husna something something ke?
" Tak! Husna something something,"
Kakak raised her eyebrows. " Tak ada orang nama tu dalam list ni,"
" Huh??"
The bus started moving already. OMG. WHat happened???
I asked again. " Kak. Ada bas UIA lain ke?"
" Ada. Bas nak pergi UIA PJ. Nanti dia sampailah,"
OH NO!!!!
" Jadi, bas ni pergi UIA NILAI LA??"
Everyone in that bus chorused " YES!!"
And I screamed (almost) out loud. " Kak, SAYA TERSILAP BAS!!!"
And in that instant, everyone laughed. Including the brothers.
That Kakak said to that driver. " Pak cik. Tunggu. Ada orang silap bas,"
She asked the girl beside me " Kenal ke dia?"
She said " Tak. Ingatkan kau yang kenal dia," she said to the girl beside me.
Everyone of course, looked at the back and laughed laughed laughed. Some whispered to their friends beside. Aih. SOOO embarrassing la..
That pak cik dropped me off in front of the police station. Lovely sense of sarcasm, that is.
Oh dear. I saw another bus. UIA bus. I waved frantically. But it didn't budge. Remember Jem, the time at school where I always waved for my school bus to stop? Well, exactly like that.
Some girls passed by me and asked " UIA PJ kan?"
And I said "Yes,"
Seriously, it was almost 12 a.m and yet, there were SO MANY BLOODY vehicles.
Me, on the other hand, had to bring my enormous bloody heavy luggage across the traffic light. ANd everyone was watching me struggling with the luggage. I could have sworn I heard the mat motors sniggering and laughing. AT MUA!
And yes, I met Husna and she motioned me to that Bus guy and said " Ah, ni tadi kawan saya yang tersilap bas," Well, sort of. Haha.
And I couldn't help laughing and giggling all the way from SP to Seberang Perai, kot.
My mum got so mad( at me) when I told her that I almost took the wrong bus.
Well, that's all. Me, the absent minded sarcastic

Thanks to you, mi madame..

Okay fine..I don't know whether the headline is in French or Spanish. Neither, I think. Okay, the thing that I'm going to tell is...
THANKS TO MY DEAR ENGLISH MADAMS..
I got to IMPROVE MY ENGLISH!!!
NOt getting exempted in English is probably one of the most benficial and good thing that EVER happened to me...
Well, let's see.
1. I browsed through my old posts and I found out that I have committed MASSIVE amounts of grammatical errors and sentence structures. What's with the past participles and all..Oh man, I'm starting to conduct an English class here..(is this sentence correct :P) Oh, never mind.
In conclusion, English class brings numerous benefits in improving my English in terms of grammar and vocabulary.Hehe...
2. Wow, a free class of journalism?
Mdm Asmeza, my reading and writing teacher, sort of told us how to write PROPER sentences, coupled with good choice of words in our essays. Me, on the other hand, feel that those skills that she taught us is applicable to be used in my dream career a.k.a a writer/journalist(whatever). Eh, I still got problems with my grammar, I think. Hahaha..Never mind, have to be confident! As least I learn something! Yaay me!
3. Speaking class.
Well, I speak a lot! And not to mention stuttering and stammering in the middle of sentences, unable to finish it. And lastly, Madame Jagdish (we called her Madame Jay XD) finished it for me. Looks like she's able to grasp my idea. The thing that I'm DYING to tell her. And yes, it kinds of improve my English speaking skills. Bit by bit. Oh man. Have to start speaking ENGLISH MORE!!!
4. NICE FRIENDS!!!
there's about 20 something students in our class. The best thing is that there are only 9 first year students and the rest are 2nd year students! Whoa!!! And they're the BEST! I can tell you that. The boys especially. The seniorsla.. They're FUNNY! And let me list out the name of the 1st year students. Ahaks..
Consists of SEVEN GIRLS! (GIRLS RULE!) and 2 boys..-_-
Girls
Yours truly, a talkative, panic stricken girl, sarcastic....I'll tell you more about my sarcastic behaviour later...And urm...I'm not the best person to describe myself. NEXT!!!
Hazimah(Hazie). An extremely pretty girl! And kind of brilliant too! Madame Jay once called her HaMIzah.Hahahahahaha
Fiza. A girl I truly admire. She is...sangat selamba! and yes..very SELAMBA! Malas wanna put the word nonchalant. Yalah. Selamba!
After English class, the three of us would usually go to the library and...(just insert anything)
Kak Jal. The Kakak in our group. She's from DQ I think. Exempted Arab, English Level 6! WHOAA!!!! Kudos to you, sis! Yup, she talks in a soft, soothing voice, quite ladylike and proper. Contrary to me, of course..LOL. And she got the HIGHEST MARKS for speaking! What did I get? Haha..2nd place kot...(shy)
Nabilah/Ummi. Arab exempted.Adoii! From MRSM. The first time I saw her, she resembles Nurul Nadia Bt Azman ( a friend from school). Seriously! Nice, dia dengan Kak Jal suka menyakat saya...hahahaha
Najwa. She's quite SERIOUS!!!! A former debater...But nice, of course...taking ALLHS, hehe. NICE!
Shakira. I never failed to ask her everyday " How's your new album?" and she will answer my ridiculous question back good naturedly...Exempted Arab whoa...She got that small, soft voice. When you hear her speaking, it's as though she's trying to refrain herself from crying. Agree? :P Haha. She's the only one from KC. But yes, SHE"S REALLY NICEEE!!! And got quite amazing vocabs too..The crying dictionary. Oh, saya sangat jahat... And yes, too many NICE. Who caresla...
Hazim. A 1st year medic student. He's extremely shy. Well, at least that's what Mdm Asmeza thought so. And so, we the girls called him Shy Boy. One day I entered the class, he was alone inside. When he saw me coming in, he got up from his seat and went out. Me too, of course. What for want to sit inside class? Moments later, he came in, brought Zaki together with him. Hahahaha..
Zaki. He got the softest voice in the class. A Pharmacy student. That's all I know about him. And yes, he and Hazim always go everywhere TOGETHER. And I seriously think that he's terrified of me. After that ruler incident. So lazy want to write here. He didn't come to class on the next day. Demam Terkejut kot. Hahahahaha.
Kak Munirah: The head of our class- for the sisters. Haha, I elected her to become one. She's nice. Kalau 2nd year student, paling rapat dengan dialah...
Kak Najihah. I thought that she's angry at me. Because of the peer editing incident. I made a mess of her essay. Sorry! But then, I tried to be nice to her and even talked to her for a while when both of us were waiting to wash our clothes using the machine. Okayla. A Pharmacy student.
Kak Maziah. I don't know how did she know my name. I never saw her before. The first time that she ever talked to me was during Speaking class.
"Sarah, boleh pinjam dictionary tak?"
"Huh? okay okay. Amiklah."
And Kak Mila, Kak apa lagi ah? I forgot. Sorry! :(
The guys.
Awang Sani. I got the same reaction that you have right now upon reading his name. The Class representative. I chose him again..Coz he and Kak Munirah were in my group in the first lesson with Mdm Jay. He's the most serious student among all the 2nd year boys.
Naim. Pharmacy student. He got the messiest hair! Only his hair.Hahaha. But Fizah said that he's nice. Well, of course.
Fazli. The messiest student of all. Hahaha. Can you imagine, during English presentation, he didn't even bother to comb his hair?? And also, his necktie is a bit lopsided and he didn't buttoned his sleeves. Haha. Okay. But he's really funny. In fact the funniest one of all. No doubt about that. One thing about him. Selalu tak datang kelas.. :I
And I forgot about the others. Sorry.. :(

We Are the Torchbearers for the Ummah...Really?

Well, where should I start?

Let me warn you that this is going to be quite a long post. All my thoughts and rantings for the past few weeks are being squeezed in one entry.

Well, I've already told you that I experienced homesickness even before I entered CFOS IIUM.

Fine, fine..

DAY ONE

Inside the car, I was crying. No one saw me, I think. Or at least I hope so...Registration day. Oh man..I forgot already. And yes, I'm too lazy to type.

After registration, went to my room. So SMALL! But, never mind, I'll survive! My room mate is Syahidah, a physical science student.

Tok Uda Noriyah and Zainal (my grandaunt/uncle) brought us to eat Nasi Dagang. Seriously, I DON'T HAVE ANY APPETITE TO EAT! I kept on rubbing my eyes with the handkerchief. I will surely miss my siblings and parents, definitely...

The cryings and emo moments stopped suddenly. And yes, I CRIED, AGAIN! When my whole family sent me to my room. Okay fine, you get the picture.

It's quite difficult for me to type using this keyboard.

Actually, I don't have any mood to write and my writing skills are urm....diminishing. Bit by bit.

We have to perform the congregational prayers with everyone downstairs...

Oh yes, I'm staying in Mahallah Zainab Jahsy, Hotel Zainab, if you ask me...It looks like a simple 3 stars hote if you ask me..And it is located on the top of a hill, which makes it in the highest position or something like that. Told you my vocabs and writing skills are deteriorating!

Okay, first night. Found Husna, what A NICE GIRL!!!. She's taking ALLHS, same as me...

Then, there's another Syahidah(her room mate), a St Georgian who got Pharmacy but planning to switch to Medic later on...

Okay, I confess. I ALMOST cry before going to bed but when I woke up at 4 in the morning, I feel nothing. It's as though I have grown accustomed to the surroundings...LOL.

Ah, I don't want to tell about the bloody tiring taaruf week activities. Let me summarize it in just ONE WORD.. LETHARGIC!!!!

Don't have time to sleep(duhh!!!) , to EAT! (seriously, one girl was admitted to the hospital because of this) and yes, the other reason is that she was feeling stressed out. Blah-blah-blah... I totally understand her. We are in the same boat.

My mum called me everyday. She told me that my FATHER cried in the car..Woohooo....

And when they reached home back in SP, they said that they could still see the dent on my pillow..Huhu...And my father began reminiscing my childhood days...Of course la I CRIED!!!

And...yes, got the stupid EPT and APT tests. I left the room earlier than everyone. I DID MY BEST already...AND I GOT LEVEL SIX??????? Okay fine, one must not complain. I FIRMLY believe that there are BLESSINGS in disguises or at least.. TRYING to believe..Where as someone that I know....got LISTENING AND SPEAKING! WTH....ONLY FIVE PEOPLE GOT L/S. Haih....

And Arab level 1, definitely...Oh yeah..I changed to Pharmacy.

First weekend, sleep over at Tok Uda's house. She bought me a book..A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. Quite an enchanting tale. I read it twice already...Just a reminder that there are lots of other people (women) out there who suffered misfortunes and unfortunate events throughout their lives.

to be continued....

GERMANY WON!!!

Yes yes,I know. Ada masa lagi nak tengok bola, LOL.
Well, of course. The last time I watched the team Germany performed was during the World Cup 2006, I think. Against Portugal. Wow, 2 years already. How time flies..:(
Ok well, I was packing everything yesterday until about 1 something a.m and I realsed that I have left out something important. MATHEMATICAL INSTRUMENTS! Haih! Gonna get it by today. And also, got to send the documents to JPA. -_-.
Well, I stayed up, of course. I tried to wake up Syafiq but he woldn't budge from his bed. Who careslah..He's going to school anyway.
And so, I managed to get Syazwani, my ever darling sister to accompany me to watch the match downstairs. We dragged our comforter and pillows together with us. Tee hee..
OMG, the match is very memorable. It kinds of reminisce me the time where I broke down just because GERMANY LOST TO BLOODY ITALY!.
Yuh, I know. I'm so sensitive.
Everyone looks old, haha...:P
They had different hairstyles too. I've never realised that Ballack's hair is so...curly.
And my sis asked why Lahm looks as if he had been punched hard on his face. Well, that's what we've been trying to tell RAVINDER! Oh, those moments.
Overall, all the players made a great team. They are not selfless. They don't care who shot the goal as long as they managed to to do it. Well, duh! It's predictable that Germany will win against POLAND! Somehow, I felt a bit sympathy towards the Poland team. They never ever won against the MIGHTY Germany! Pity the coachlah.haha.
Speaking of coach, Joachim Low is HOTTT, right? He resembles the old Jurgen Klinsmann a bit. It's just that he's MORE HOTTT!!! Maybe it's because of his raven black hair, LOL.
Oh, PODOLSKI! Podolski shot both goals that claimed Germany's victory over Poland. Whoa..
Klose didn't managed to get any goal though...:P And Schweinsteiger, he came in to join the etam for about 7 minutes and ALREADY he received a yellow card. Wakakakakaka..His hair looks different..
Wow, Germany. You guys changed my world. And I will never ever forget the moments where I have transformed from a football hater to a football head. Thanks to Farahin and Suraya too, of course. And my WHOLE CLASSMATES! :) We all LOVE FOOTBALL!!! Though we are girls, of course. Oh, I started to miss you guys already. :(
And the players are getting old. I could still remember seeing Klose's face in the headline during World Cup 2002! SIX YEARS AGO!!!
Oliver Kahn's gone. And I predict the rest will leave the team too, after World Cup 2010. They are too old for this already..:( So maybe, World Cup 2010 wil be the last ever chance that I will have to watch their final matches. After that, maybe Ballack will leave,Klose too, maybe. And Lehmann..the other sniors before..:( No doubt that Podolksi and lahm will continue serving the team until well, let's say.. World Cup 2014. Oh dear, they will become old at that time. And me too. All of us. World Cup only happens once in four years. You saw them four years ago and you will be surprised to see how they aged when you see them again four years later. Well, life's like that. I slept at around 4. 40, I think. And woke up for Subuh prayer and slept again.
I'm going today, bye-bye you guys...
